HHC 2011 9th Annual Fishing Rodeo

The Hold’em and Hit’em Club was started in the mid seventy’s by five men whose goals were set on helping youth and education. We are able to raise money by having annual events like our Fishing Rodeo to make that dream come true.

In 2007, Hold’em & Hit’em lost one of our founding Presidents and great friends. Our fishing rodeo is in honor of him.

We have designated Surfside Marina as our offical tournament headquarters. Surfside Marina is a first class facility and the management and staff have been simply amazing. The location of the Marina has allowed us to grow our inshore division by allowing tournament anglers the opportunity to fish in either the Galveston Bay or Matagorda Complex. Furthermore, the location has allowed us to add an offshore division as well as a kids fishing tournament.

Surfside Marina is a first class facility, along with first class hospitality. They are located just a few minutes from the Texas Gulf’s beautiful beaches and great fishing.

Our Captains Meeting will take place Friday August 19, 2011 where you can submit your entry form or ask any questions that you may have pertaining to our rules and regulations..

Fishing will officially begin on Saturday August 20, 2011. Food, tournament awards, door prizes, raffles, silent andlive auctions. We will also have great music, outstanding food, plenty of refreshements, door prizes, raffles, and a silent and live auction.

We look forward to seeing you this year either as an entrant, sponsor, or guest.  With your involvement, HHC will be able to continue supporting the education of the many scholarship recipients of the Metro Houston Area and your support will keep Dirty’s dream alive.
