1. Sign in will occur on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Surfside Marina from 3:00PM till 9:00PM.

2. Hours of Fishing: Lines in the water at 5 A.M, lines out of the water by 3:30 P.M. August 29, 2009. You may start fishing wherever you want within the Galveston Bay Matagorda Complex anytime after 5 A.M. on Aug. 21, 2010.

3. All fish must be caught in the Galveston Bay Matagorda Complex on rod and reel.

4. Only Texas slot limit requirements will be accepted. No tagged redfish will be allowed and all participants must abide by all governing laws as to size, bag limit, etc. The Blackjack Trout category consists of the closest trout that measures to 21 Inches without going over. In case of tie, the wining trout will awarded by the heaviest weight. A further tie, will go to the first weighed trout weighed in.

5. Weigh-in anytime from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at HHC Fishing Headquarters located at Surfside Marina. You must arrive at the weigh station and be checked in no later than 4 p.m. for fish to count.

6. In the event of a tie, the first tied fish to be weighed will be declared the winner.

7. Only fish caught during tournament hours 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on August 21, 2010 will count.

8. Awards will be presented immediately following weigh-in at HHC Headquarters located at SurfsideMarina located at 827 Gurl Road in Surfside, Tx. Dinner is included for each registered angler. Extra dinner tickets are available for $20.00 each.

9. No pooling of fish will be allowed. Each individual must weigh-in their fish only.

10. If the Tournament Committee determines the weather is not suitable to fish, a refund will be issued. Email the HHC Fishing Tournament Chairman prior to August 20, 2010 if in doubt. The decision of the HHC Fishing Committee will be final on all issues pertaining to the tournament.

11. All participants in the tournament enter at their own risk. Official committee members and all persons connected directly or indirectly with the operation of the 2010 Hold ‘Em & Hit ‘Em Fishing Rodeo shall be exempt from any liability for loss, damage, negligence, harm or injury suffered to any participant, entrant, sport fisherman, their companions, boat captains, crew members, vessels and equipment which may occur during the tournament.

PROTESTS: All protests must be presented to the HHC Fishing Committee no later than 4:30 p.m. the day of the tournament. The HHC Fishing committee will make decisions before the awards are presented. All decisions of the HHC Fishing Committee are final.
