1. Sign in will occur on Friday August 19, 2011 Surfside Marina 827 Gulf Road Surfside, TX, from 5pm to 7pm.
2. Hours of fishing will begin at 5am August 20, 2011. ONLY FISH CAUGHT DURING TOURNAMENT HOURS WILL BE COUNTED!
3. Fishermen & women may fish in the Galveston/ Matagorda Bay systems. And all fish must be caught on rod & reel.
4. Only Texas slot limits will be accepted. No tagged redfish will be allowed. All participants must abide by all governing laws as to size and limits, etc. NO EXCEPTIONS!
5. Only speckled sea trout will be allowed at turn-in! NO SAND TROUT WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE TROUT CATEGORY. You may use sand trout in the heaviest other fish category.
6. Blackjack trout category consists of the closest speckled trout to 21” without going over. In case of a tie, the winning trout will be awarded by the heaviest weight. In the event of another tie, the winning trout will go to the first angler to weigh in. NO EXCEPTIONS!
7. Weigh in starts at 2pm, and ends at 4pm SHARP! TOURNAMENT’S SITE OFFICIAL TIME CLOCK WILL BE THE ONLY TIME USED!
8. Anglers may trailer, BUT will do so at your own risk. Weigh-in closes at 4pm SHARP. If you do decide to trailer, give yourself enough time to reach the weigh station by 4pm sharp. NO EXCEPTIONS!
9. In the event a tie occurs in one of the general fishing categories, the first fish to be weighed in will be declared the winner.

10. NO POOLING OF FISH! Each individual must weigh in their fish only.
11. Must have on your persons a valid Texas fishing license. NO LICENSE, NO WEIGH-IN. NO EXCEPTIONS!
12. Tournament chairman/committee makes all final decisions. If the tournament committee determines weather is not suitable to fish, a refund will be issued. Email HHC Fishing tournament Chairman prior to August 19, 2011 if in doubt, at fishingrodeo@hhclub.org.
13. All participants in the tournament enter at their own risk. The official committee members and all persons connected directly or indirectly with the operations of the 2011 Hold’Em & Hit’Em Fishing Rodeo shall be exempt from any/all liability for loss, damage, negligence, harm or injury suffered to any participant, entrant, sport fisherman, their companions, boat captains, crew members, vessels and equipment which may occur during the tournament.
14. All PROTESTS must be presented to the HHC fishing tournament committee no later than 4:15 the day of tournament. All decisions will be made prior to awards presentation. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL BY THE COMMITTEE!
REMINDER: IF YOU TRAILER, GIVE YOURSELF THE TIME TO GET IN BEFORE 4PM WEIGH-IN CLOSING.
YOU MUST BE IN LINE AT THE WEIGH-IN STATION, NOT JUST IN THE PARKING LOT!! NO EXCEPTIONS!! |
